This role sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and customer success, helping ensure the clients get maximum value from both the software and the services.

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, extroverted Financial Analytics & Customer Success Associate to support both their software clients and fractional CFO / accounting clients.

This individual will:

• Become a power user of the our client’s analytics platform

• Build and maintain automated financial reports and dashboards

• Work directly with customers to onboard, configure, and improve reporting

• Partner closely with Product, Accounting, and Finance teams

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analytics

• Build and maintain automated financial reports and dashboards within our client’ analytics platform (embedded Sigma Computing)

• Translate accounting and finance requirements into clear, repeatable reporting solutions

• Work with accounting and fractional CFO teams to standardize and improve client reporting

• Create formulas and logic similar to Excel-based modeling (no SQL required)

Customer Onboarding & Success (Software Clients)

• Partner with the Head of Product to onboard new software customers

• Help clients configure dashboards, metrics, and reporting workflows

• Lead customer calls to understand reporting needs and recommend solutions

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for analytics-related questions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between Product, Finance, and Customer-facing teams

• Provide feedback to the product team based on customer usage and needs

• Help document best practices and reporting templates for scale

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in  financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, consulting, or customer success in a financial product

• Strong understanding of:

  • Financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

  • Common SaaS or services business metrics

• Advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills (formulas, logic, data structuring)

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI or analytics tools (Sigma, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

• Prior fintech, accounting software, or professional services experience

• Customer success or implementation experience

• Interest in people management and mentoring
