Controller
If you’re a bilingual Controller based in Buenos Aires, and have experience in the CPG industry, we want to meet you.
THIS ROLE IS ONLY FOR CANDIDATES BASED IN BUENOS AIRES.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Controller to join a fast-growing, better-for-you CPG company with a strong presence across major U.S. retailers and a globally distributed manufacturing network. The company operates with a lean, remote-first team and is currently investing in systems, processes, and organizational capabilities to support its next phase of growth.
The Controller will play a central role in strengthening the finance organization by taking full ownership of the accounting team end-to-end. This includes close, reporting, AP/AR, inventory reconciliation, and internal controls.
The accounting team is relatively new and operating in a dynamic environment, with recent investments in systems and ongoing efforts to improve processes and ways of working. The Controller will be responsible for bringing structure, consistency, and rigor to the function, while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Success in this role requires a strong builder mindset. The Controller will lead and develop a growing team of 3 direct reports, establish clear standards and accountability, and ensure reliable, high-quality financial outputs. At the same time, this person will be expected to proactively improve how work gets done — leveraging systems, automation, and new technologies to reduce manual work and elevate the function.

Ensure full compliance with US GAAP across all accounting activities
Support external audits and tax filings; coordinate with external advisors as needed
5. Team leadership and development
Lead and develop a team of 3 staff accountants
Set clear expectations, provide structured feedback, and create growth paths for team members
Build a high-accountability team culture where deliverables are owned, not just completed
6. Systems and process improvement
Leverage NetSuite to its full potential — automate, streamline, and reduce manual work
Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement improvements with a bias toward technology and AI-assisted solutions
Collaborate with Finance and Operations on cross-functional process initiatives
